MARAWI CITY, Lanao Del Sur – As part of her efforts to help marginalized institutions in the Bangsamoro region, Member of the Parliament Diamila Disimban-Ramos provided P3.5 million worth of financial assistance to ten (10) institutions in Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao during the “Peace Conversation and Ceremonial Turn-Over of Financial Assistance to Vulnerable, Neglected, and Marginalized Institutions” at Sapadan Garden Hotel, Upper Lancaf, Marawi City.
The said financial aid, which is funded under the 2021 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of MP Ramos and being implemented by the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (BARMM), aims to give comfortable facilities to mosques and Islamic institutions (such as Madaris and Torils) to provide a conducive learning and teaching environment to their students.
In her message delivered by her Political Affairs Officer, Mr. Samsodin Sigayan, MP Ramos shared her fervent support for the aforementioned institutions that continuously contribute to the upbringing of the children and inculcate Islamic knowledge and good manners in them.
“Kinikilala po natin ang malaking kontribusyong naiaambag ninyo sa ating kumonidad dahil kayo po ang isa sa pundasyon sa paghulma ng tamang kaisipan sa ating mga kabataan at sa pagpapalaganap ng kagandahan ng ating relihiyong Islam (We acknowledge the great contribution you embody for our community because you are part of the foundation that instills correct mindset to our youth and in spreading the beauty of our religion Islam),” said MP Ramos being the Chairperson of the Committee on Women, Youth, Children and Persons with Disabilities in the BTA Parliament.
“Dama po namin ang mga hamon at paghihirap na inyong kinakaharap kaya naman po sinikap natin na kayo ay matulungan at matugunan ang inyong mga pangangailangan dahil naniniwala ako na kayo po ang kabalikat ng ating pamahalaang Bangsamoro sa pagkamit ng ating layuning pang matagalang kapayapaan at pangkalahatang kaunlaran sa ating rehiyon (We feel the challenges and difficulties you are facing and that is why we tried to help your needs for I believe that you are the partner of our Bangsamoro government in achieving our dream of sustainable peace and flourishing development in our region),” she added.
Moreover, Director General Atty. Al-Rashid Balt of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety expressed his gratitude to MP Ramos because of the success of this program that helps and focuses on the welfare of the said institutions.
“Alam po natin na kulang ang atensiyon at interbensyon na naibibigay sa inyo ng pamahalaan kaya nakita po namin ang importansiya ng pagbibigay sa inyo ng ganitong programa na mas magpapatibay sa inyong adhikain para sa ating mga kababayan lalo na sa mga kabataan (We know that the attention and interventions that the government gives you is lacking so we saw the importance of giving you this kind of program that will strengthen your aspirations for our countrymen, especially the youth),” MPOS DG Balt stated.
“Malaki po ang pasasalamat namin dahil ngayon ay aming inaani ang biyayang ito na bunga ng pagpupursige ng ating Bangsamoro Government. Kaya sa mga kasama kong benepisyaryo, ipakita po natin sa kanila at kay Allah (SWT) na pagtitibayin natin itong biyayang ipinagkatiwala nila sa atin (We are very grateful because today we are reaping this blessing as a result of the persistence of our Bangsamoro Government. To my fellow beneficiaries, let’s show and prove to them to Allah (SWT) that we will utilize this blessing that they have entrusted to us),” said Aleem Ahmad Sumbag from Ma’had Darul Ulom Al-Islamie, one of the beneficiaries of the said financial aid.
Further, Dr. Tirmizy Abdullah emphasized in his lecture entitled “Building a Culture of Peace”, the importance of unity in achieving long-lasting peace in our society. Meanwhile, the second tranche of financial assistance will be received by the institutions after the monitoring process that will be conducted by the Ministry of Public Order and Safety.
Residents of Barangay Buadi Amaloy, Masiu, Lanao del Sur thanked the Office of MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos together with the BARMM’s Ministry of Public Works as a partner implementing agency for the water system project at their village.
The said project was turned over last May 14, 2022, and was designed to allocate water supply to the community of Brgy. Buadi Amaloy especially those who would pray in the Grand Mosque Jamaah where the project is located.
It is funded under the 2020 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of MP Ramos.
“In response to your request, I am grateful for the opportunity to identify this Municipality as a recipient of this Water System Project dahil alam ko pong malaki ang maitutulong nito sa komunidad ninyo especially in terms of cleanliness. This project will ensure that over a period of time, the community of Brgy. Buadi Amaloy will have access to a potable supply of water to address the water security,” said MP Ramos on her turn-over speech delivered by Mr. Nor Mohammad Makil of the Office of MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos.
The water system project with a budget of PHP 2.9 million features a Solar Powered, Concrete Water Tank with a 5-8 Tap Stand.
MP Ramos likewise mentioned that water servesis a basic necessity and to our health and well-being.
“My commendations to our partner agency, the Ministry of Public Works, and also to Noreen Constructions for their perseverance to finish the project. I know its completion was not easy and Alhamdulillah! With the grace of Allah (SWT), it now benefits the entire community of Brgy. Buadi Amaloy,” she expressed.
“I am always grateful also to our BARMM Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim, especially to our President Rodrigo Duterte, for the realization of this project will not be possible if not for them. The BARMM government is consistent in its initiatives in providing public services to the Bangsamoro with the legitimate intention of effectively corresponding to the significant needs of the people.” MP Ramos added.
In his acceptance message, Former Vice Mayor Hadji Usman Orangaga conveyed his gratitude to MP Ramos, “May Allah (SWT) reward you greatly for this initiative and because of this, we now have easy access for water. We assure you that we will take care of it so that many people will benefit from it.”
“This project and the other projects of the BARMM government are all blessings from Allah (SWT). We are very grateful that we became the means to bridge projects and programs to the Bangsamoro people, especially those who belong to the vulnerable sectors. Help us in asking Allah (SWT) to grant us strength so that we may continuously do what is mandated to us and serve for the best interest of our beloved Bangsamoro”, said Deputy Chief Minister Aleem Ali B. Solaiman, as he shares his message of support to MP Ramos and the BARMM government.
On his part, MPW-LDS Assistant District Engineer Abdul Jalil Bansao reiterated the consequential benefits of the initiatives of the BARMM government, “Malaki ang pasasalamat namin kay MP Ramos at sa BARMM government dahil itong proyektong ito ay isang ihemplo na ang pondo ng kanilang TDIF ay talagang nagagamit sa mga proyektong naaayon sa mga pangangailangan ng mga komunidad”.

Representing MP Basit “Jannati Mimbantas” Abbas, COS Alonto Mimbantas Gubar revered the efforts and contribution of MP Ramos for the people of Masiu, “Pinasasalamatan namin si MP Ramos at ang kanyang opisina dahil sa matagumpay na pagpapatayo ng Solar powered water system na nagbibigay ng patubig sa mga tao na makakatulong sa kanilang pang araw-araw na pamumuhay.” (Our sincere gratitude to MP Ramos for successfully building a Solar Powered Water System that will greatly help the entire community in their daily lives.)
Moreover, representing Noreen Construction, Mujahid Al-Hussein Disimban extended his appreciation to all the stakeholders for the success of the project, “We are very thankful to MP Ramos, MPW and the BARMM government for putting their trust on us in completing this project. We are also thankful to the people of Brgy. Buadi Amaloy for their support and patience which helped us in successfully building the project.”
